About the 2009 Ford Flex:
The 2009 Ford Flex is a crossover; seven-seater SUV from Ford. It is packed with features suiting several kinds of lifestyle. The engine
The 2009 Ford Flex runs on a 3.5-liter, V6 engine that has an output of 262 horsepower. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Its three trims - SE, SEL and Limited, are available in options of front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. While the front-wheel drive gives a mileage of 17 to 24 mpg; the all-wheel drive returns mileage of 16-22 mpg. This model can tow up to 4,500 lb.

Wide exterior
The 2009 Ford Flex has been given five extra inches in width and an extended wheelbase for its breadbox-shaped exterior. This makes it a big, broad vehicle at 201.8 inches, making it 27 inches longer than the Ford Escape.

Features in the interior
The 2009 Ford Flex is equipped with changeable LED mood lighting mounted on the front console and footwells. A navigation system with an eight-inch screen; 140 SIRIUS satellite radio stations, iPOD integration, and a 10 - gig Jukebox are some of the interior features of this model.

Safety
Dual front and side air bags in the front row and a rollï-over Safety Canopy air bag covering the second and third-row seats; antilock breaks, AdvanceTrac (traction control) with Roll Stability Control; reverse sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system are some of the standard safety features of the 2009 Ford Flex.
