The Anti-Cruelty Society Shows Their Love for Cats This Valentine's Day
Dedicated Donor Offers to Pay Half of all Cat Adoption Fees on February 14

CHICAGO, IL, February 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Anti-Cruelty Society is hoping to make some perfect matches this Valentine's Day. Thanks to the generosity of a caring donor, cat adoption fees will be half of the regular adoption fee.

"On average, The Anti-Cruelty Society houses 75 percent more cats than dogs and we want to work hard to find them permanent homes," said Dr. Robyn Barbiers, president of The Anti-Cruelty Society. "Cats make wonderful pets and can be a great fit for many families."

On February 14, 2012 the adoption fee for one cat will be waived if the adopter decides to adopt two, or the adopter can pay half price for one cat. All standard adoption requirements apply. There are many benefits to owning two cats that include socialization, mental stimulation and exercise—in addition to receiving double the love.

The Anti-Cruelty Society cat adoption fees are normally $60 for adult cats or $75 for kittens under six months. Adoption fees include a complete veterinary exam, all initial vaccinations, spay or neuter, an ID tag and permanent identification microchip, a collar, a cat carrier and 15 days free post-adoption veterinary care in our clinic insurance offer, and of course, a wonderful family companion.
