, to be held October 4-6, 2012.
The three-day celebration of Greater Boston's cocktail culture is the first-ever city-wide cocktail event and is designed for industry professionals and consumers alike. Parties, trade exhibits, and seminars will highlight the city's fascinating history of mixology and will spotlight New England's breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
The Boston Cocktail Summit will be open to the public and will allow local enthusiasts to celebrate, commiserate, learn about, and enjoy great cocktails both classic and contemporary. Mixology superstars like James Beard Award winner Dale "King Cocktail" DeGroff and Tony Abou-Ganim
, inventor of the Cable Car Cocktail, will dazzle with creative and classic cocktails. Celebrated Boston chefs will prepare delicious cocktail dinners, and local and international spirits authorities like Godfather of the Boston cocktail scene, Brother Cleve, "Wine Geek" Steve Olson, author Doug Frost, and Dushan Zaric, co-owner of New York City's Employees Only and Macao Trading Co. will offer informative and educational seminars.
