    FRENCHTOWN, NJ, August 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The hottest concert in NJ is also proving to be the most innovative. Revelation Generation (RevGen) has added a new Urban stage this year in an effort to create an atmosphere that's comfortable and attractive to inner city kids by providing the musical styles they enjoy.

"We're excited to showcase a diverse mix of outstanding urban talent, which is very popular in a community we care about. As RevGen grows in fans and the number of artists we attract, it's important for us to consider a variety of musical styles and artists with a message of hope because while we're located on the fringe of suburbia, we're very interested in touching the lives of kids everywhere, including the inner cities," says Tim Harris, concert promoter.

The Urban Stage will be featured on Saturday, September 6, with seven incredible hours of non-stop Rap, Reggaeton, R&B, Gospel and Spoken Word artists, including:

RevGen is proud to partner with its sponsors for The Urban Stage: Evangel Church of Scotch Plains, NJ; HolyCulture.net and Urban Impact (a ministry of Pillar of Fire Int.). Now that support is established for the Urban Stage, RevGen will look to involve additional urban ministries in the future.

The 2009 RevGen lineup features more than 50 chart-toppers on 5 stages for two whole days (September 4 and 5) of mind-blowing music. In addition to the Urban Stage (listed above), this amazing concert in NJ offers four more stages, each promoting a specific style and the biggest recording artists that made the genre great. In its fifth year, Revelation Generation is the premier annual concert in NJ. Drawing fans from the greater New York/Philadelphia area, RevGen brings a world-class entertainment experience to Central New Jersey. The unique non-profit event takes place in Frenchtown, NJ at Revelation Farms, a sprawling 140-plus acre property owned by festival founders, Robert and Kim Grom. Revelation Generation creates a unique mix of emerging and award-winning musical artists spanning rock, pop, alternative, urban and punk, along with inspiring speakers, demonstrations, activities, and games in an alcohol-free and drug-free venue that everyone can enjoy. Last year, RevGen welcomed more than 25,000 fans -- a figure we expect to eclipse this year.

RevGen also welcomes the triumphant return of Tent 7. Introduced last year, Tent 7 provides lucky fans the opportunity to sit in on intimate interview sessions with their favorite performers. Throughout the festival, artists will stop by Tent 7 to share their stories allowing unprecedented access to bands they're like to find nowhere else (except maybe on the tour bus).
