Hosted by the award winning Inn at St. Peter's Village, this one-day celebration on Sunday, October 19 will begin at 11AM and run till 7PM. The festival will combine the gourmet food created by Chef Michael, from The Inn at St. Peter's Village, paired with specialty Oktoberfest style beers. There will be Arts and Crafts Vendors and Live Local Music from bands like Bad Apples, Jody Rush, The Eileen Tipping Band, Nowhere Slow, Kursten Bouton, Fiorenza-Dowlin and The Tamboureens. Oktoberfest is one of the highlights for brewers every year. Michael McMillan Director of Marketing for St. Peter's Village says, "This is one of my favorite times of year. The weather begins to break and cool off, and breweries of the world begin releasing their yearly Oktoberfest offerings with flavor that mirrors the season, toasted malts, slightly sweet and then smooth. It makes me think of my Great-Grandparents, from Germany, who made a large spread of warm potato salad, braised cabbage, roasted pork and grilled bratwurst. It is a culture of celebration by combining two of my favorite items: good beer and great food."
Along with the numerous offerings of great imported beers, The Inn at St. Peter's Village has developed a wonderful Oktoberfest menu for the day.
