The Kings of Ybor Saga Begins with "The Godfather's Sword" on Amazon Kindle

The first of three short stories, Tampa author Rock Kitaro prepares the world for his upcoming novel "The Three Kings of Ybor" with the backstory releases of the three main characters.

TAMPA, FL, November 05, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In "The Godfather's Sword," a former U.S. commando turned Syndicate enforcer recounts his first and only mission with the infamous Black Creek Security firm. It's on this mission that he has the honor to witness the Godfather's favorite nephew in action. It's in this story that we're finally introduced to the sixteen-year-old prodigy hitman, Braden Pierce.

"I know people think that in the future we'll have flying cars and teleportation machines. While it would be nice if people really thought about and poured money into those ridiculous problem-causing types of inventions, everyone knows that war has always been history's biggest moneymaker. Sure ideas and ambition can drive men to strive for improvement. But in the year 2202, the people who really stand up to make a change...those head-strong individuals fully believe in the idea that fighting solves everything."

That's the first paragraph of the Prologue of "The Three Kings of Ybor" found on Rock Kitaro's website. It sets the tone that breaks free from most stereotypical movies and stories about a dystopian United States. In Kitaro's Kings of Ybor universe, the world is run by a syndicate that's headed by the multi-billionaire CEO of a conglomerate, a man who's comparable to the modern day George Soros.

After concluding his "Ghost of Cloud Beaudry" stories, Kitaro seems to have focused on the release of his Kings of Ybor saga, promising the release of two more action-packed short stories filled with thought provoking scenarios and charismatic characters made to keep you turning the pages.

"The Godfather's Sword: Braden Pierce" is available on Amazon Kindle.
