/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Learning Experience of Brooklyn (TLE) child care center is pleased to celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the new center, located at 412 Kings Highway at West 2nd St. Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and area government officials are scheduled to attend.
The Learning Experience of Brooklyn is a new state-of-the-art child development center serving children from six weeks to five years of age. Children learn at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment. The unique curriculum features computers, math, music, drama, dance, songs, arts & crafts, science, and the award-winning early reading program "Fun With Phonics." Specialized enrichment programs (Start to Art, Marvelous Math, Talent Sprouts, Dancing Feet , Suddenly Science, Music 4 Me, and Movin' N Grovin' ) are included in the tuition. The center also features "Make Believe Boulevard" --- a miniature Main Street, USA --- complete with storefronts, slide, and ball pit. It is the first TLE location in the Five Boroughs.
"We are here to make a difference in the lives of children in Brooklyn," says Rob Bender, co-owner. "Our unique curriculum and diverse enrichment programs offer a promising start to a bright future."
The center is also dedicated to civic responsibility. Events are free, open to the public, and benefit charity. A recent Free Family Fun Day & Food Drive benefited The Food Bank for New York City, and an Open House & Clothing Drive is in the works for January.
