When asked about the new version of the story,
James Cooper of whychristmas.com, who plays King Herod said, "This is a very exciting project. I've wanted to have a version of the Christmas Story recorded for my website and also being able to use it on the podcast is wonderful. It's been great having the vocal talents of such respected voiceover artists, musicians and podcasters on the story. I'm sure it will add something special to the Lifespring! WhyChristmas Show this year."
