Daniel Chester French's missing maquette for his 1921 Victory bronze; paintings from the meteoric or ignored careers of Bob Thompson and African American artists; art of WPA and American artists from 1930-1970; 19th-20th Century European, South American and Indian paintings will be found at Clarke.

Based on record-breaking results for its November 2007 Auction, Clarke announces its 2008 Fine Art Auction, featuring the best of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Great consignments accepted until April 15.
