    NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA, January 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Tax Lady Roni Deutch and employees from her Sacramento based law firm are celebrating the holiday season with a food drive for the Martin Luther King Village homeless shelter.

"In 2009, the Community Action Committee at my law firm went above and beyond," explains Ms. Deutch. "They started the year with an outreach event to setup a baby boutique at the Sacramento Receiving Home, and have coordinated several events in the community since then including a Halloween trick-or-treat event, and most recently a charity toy donation drive."

"The holidays are the perfect time to give to those in need," explains the law firm's managing attorney Justin Hein. "For our food drive, we are encouraging all of our employees to check their cabinets and cupboards for any extra canned goods or packaged food items. The country's current economic conditions have forced many people into difficult circumstances and I am proud to be part of a law firm that is working diligently to provide food to feed those who are struggling this holiday season."

The law firm is collecting food for the Martin Luther King Village in Oak Park, Sacramento. The shelter is located in the South Sacramento area and provides housing and help to the homeless. Over eighty people currently have full-time residence at Martin Luther King Village.
