Joe Menendez is directing the Jim McNamara project. Lensing is scheduled to commence in Los Angeles in late August.

He first garnered attention with the lead role in the film "Libertad," playing an artist in Cuba who is unjustly sentenced to 15 years in prison and later escapes on a raft.
