/24-7PressRelease/ - NEW YORK, NY, November 16, 2006 - The "must-have" Christmas gift this year is perfect for whomever is on the top of your gift list...especially if he or she already has just about everything. After all, who at one time or another hasn't thought of being a land baron, a real estate tycoon or, more specifically, exactly like Mr. Donald Trump himself? Or the dream might have been traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, California...perhaps to all the corners of the United States.

American Acres, Inc., a New York City based company, is making it easy to fulfill those fantasies this Christmas via the Internet at their website, http://www.ownapieceofamerica.us. They are selling "Deeds to the United States" - deeds to mini-sized lots, one square-inch in size, in all 50 states of the United States...on one legal document for as little as $19.95.

But don't let your father, mother, boyfriend or whomever quit their day job to live the good life by moving to their property. The land they'll be getting is small...very small, and the legalities (posted prominently on the website and on the Deed) prohibit building on or occupying the property. At the same time though, owners have no responsibilities whatsoever; they won't have to mow the lawn, pick up trash, nor...pay any local, state or federal real estate taxes.

There are several Christmas gift-giving options available. The individually numbered, personalized Deeds to the United States, inscribed with landowner's name, comes in a colorful printed version, framed or mounted on a beautiful, walnut-finished plaque. Another option, if someone is late for Christmas is to have the Deed emailed instantly, 24/7, by going to directly to http://www.OwnAPieceofAmerica.us. Each of the 4 versions comes with a complete "Property Listings" booklet showing exactly where all the land is located.

For those whose dreams are more localized, the website also offers mini-parcels to individual states as well. One can receive a State Deed to any state of their choice...also either printed, framed, mounted on a plaque, or emailed instantly.

The project has taken well over 10 years to put together by American Acres with the land having been purchased one acre at a time, state by state. All of the land was acquired with the help of local real estate agents, not larger, national agents. American Acres' properties average about one-acre in size, but some run as many as 10 acres like in Oregon and Nevada. Others are located in the Great Smoky Mountains in South Carolina, the panhandle of Texas, the beautifully situated community of Ocean View Estates in Hawaii, the wooded properties in Connecticut and New Hampshire, and the bayou of Louisiana, to name a few. For those mathematically inclined, there are 6,272,640 square inches per acre affording landowners a 6,272,640th undivided interest in each of the acres in each state.

Scott Moger, president of American Acres, Inc. is quick to point out that "these 'mini estates' can't be built on, lived on or retired on. Owners cannot make any improvements or develop the parcels. Owners shall not occupy the parcels and must grant rights of ingress and egress over their parcel. But they are completely free of additional responsibility and obligations. And the fun of bragging about owning land in any and all of the United States is priceless, to say the least!"

Prior to releasing the Deeds for sale to the public, a "no action" letter was requested from and received from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC) as well as the Attorney General of New York State stating that the deeds are being sold as novelty items and not as investments and that owners cannot resell them for profit or benefit financially in any way. Each landowner receives a quitclaim deed and is entitled to a 6,272,640th undivided interest in each of the acres in each state.
