FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, October 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Conde Nast Traveler, one of the world's most respected travel magazines, in its November 2016 issue has published the results of its prestigious 29th annual Readers' Choice Awards. The Pillars Hotel was selected as the number two hotel in Florida receiving an overall score of 95.94 out of 100.
More than 300,000 travelers took part in the survey--yet another new record--submitting millions of ratings and over 75,000 comments to help us create a list of winning favorites.
"We are very thankful to all those who participated in the survey and shared their opinion about their stay at The Pillars Hotel," says owner Michael Landry. "We realize that everyone has a different opinion about why the like one hotel over another. According to Conde Nast their readers are most excited about the authentic, the personal touch and having their expectations exceeded.
"In the end it is about people," says Landry. "I believe we have an outstanding professional team in place. They see the operation not only as a family of employees but rather as a family of employees and guests. And of course, our location on the Intracoastal Waterways of Fort Lauderdale is exceptional. These factors go a long way in explaining our popularity."
The Pillars Hotel is a Fort Lauderdale boutique property owned by Landry Trebbi Investment Corp. The hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) group and home of the Secret Garden Dining Club and Restaurant.
