The Plato Group's Managing Director, Steve Dongo, aspires to become a part of the millionaires club and he knows that in order to achieve that goal it takes the right strategy, passion, enthusiasm and a goal to work towards. Supporters of entrepreneurship, The Plato Group, inspired by an article on entrepreneur.com published July 1st, have outlined the 10 reasons you're not a millionaire yet.

1. There is no one guiding you in the right direction.
In order to achieve great success it is important for an ambitious individual to surround him or her self with positive people. Most importantly, people they can trust that will help to guide them in the right direction. It is the people someone surrounds themselves with that pushes them towards their goals.

2. Not making sacrifices.
Most of the world's millionaires had to make sacrifices in order to become a part of the millionaires club. On the road to success there will always be something or someone that needs to be sacrificed. If someone isn't willing to make these sacrifices along the way then they will never get the financial success they desire.

3. Fear of failure.
Many successful people have a back catalogue of failures. Every failed attempt is a lesson learned, failure shouldn't be feared it should be embraced. It is only natural that failure will occur, mistakes will be made and this will allow the individual to learn and grow. If someone fears failure, they will never overcome it.

4. No clear goals
If someone doesn't have a clear goal to work towards then they can't take the necessary actions and they will never become a millionaire. To achieve success an individual must take the time to do the planning and do it right.

5. Thinking it can't be done
Believe that you can succeed and it will happen. Often the greatest barrier to success is ones self. The key is to visualize the successful person they aspire to be, possibly someone they once envied, and then truly believe it can happen, ad that will bring them one step closer to their goal.

6. Believing background or location prevents success.
Nothing can prevent someone from achieving success if are committed, passionate and give it 110%. Repeat that mantra every day to believe it.

7. Not using the Internet.
The Internet has drastically changed how the world works, and it continues to be a game changer in business. An individual must take full advantage of all the tools at their disposal.

8. Forgetting that money can buy freedom.
Although the famous saying, money can't buy happiness is true, it shouldn't be forgotten that money buys freedom. Money is the ticket to freedom that so many people crave, not being a slave to 'the man' anymore. Freedom can lead to happiness.

9. Hanging out with the wrong crowd.
The group of people someone surrounds himself or herself with has a massive influence on their success. These people should be a positive support system. An individual's group of friends and family should not be a distraction or negative influence in any way. If they are, it is time to find a new crowd.

10. Not building a skill set.
Acquiring skills and knowledge is incredibly important for the long term. While it can take more time and more work but it can also result in long-term success.
