The Right Reverend John Stead Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Spiritual Direction

    Gladston, Australia, December 7, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Right Reverend John Stead, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Willochra, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the spiritual care of the people of the Diocese.

The Right Rev. Stead was consecrated a bishop in the Anglican Church of Australia in 2009, serving as the assistant bishop in the Diocese of Bathurst. In March 2012, he was elected as the Seventh Bishop of the Diocese of Willochra in South Australia. In total he has 16 years of experience in spiritual care. His ultimate purpose is to continue to serve God, and care for the spiritual needs of the population and clergy across the 900,000 square kilometers of the Diocese.

Bishop John received a bachelor's degree in theology in 1996 from the Sydney College of Divinity and a bachelor's degree in education in 1979 from the University of Cambra. He is a member of The Anglican Church of Australia.
