"The idea to do a Fashion Show inspired by MJ just came to me, really...since I have always enjoyed listening to the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson's songs while growing up, I just thought that other people would enjoy something that featured his music and videos in a different way," says Lisa Caston, the Detroit native and owner of LBDC Design, LLC. Lisa hopes to "increase her presence in the Detroit Fashion movement" and to "share [her] knowledge of design and sewing." Lisa teaches sewing classes for those interested in learning or those who love to sew. Lisa operates LDBC Design from her studio space in the famed artist community, The Russell Industrial Center. She is enthusiastic about introducing the public to the great things she and other Russell artists are creating. Lisa hopes attendees of the show "have an enjoyable evening while getting to know some of the good things happening in the Russell Industrial Center."
