NEW YORK, NY, October 24, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- June Archer, CEO and Founder of Eleven28 Entertainment Group successfully produced The 2nd Annual New England Music Seminar (NEMS) in Hartford, Connecticut. Held on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 presented by The Bushnell Theater and sponsored by BMI, Vitamin Water, Def Jam Records, Jive/Zomba Label Group, MetroMix, The Wright Design Group (WDG), SESAC, Universal/Motown Records and Eleven28 Entertainment Group - June Archer gathered keynote speakers Arthur Mitchell of Urban Network and Attorney and Author James Walker, Jr. Esq. along with several music industry professionals and brought them to the New England region as panelists to educate an underserved market of talented artists. "It is my goal to expose the business side of the music industry and educate artists on every aspect of how to create a successful career and understand the intricacies of what makes an artist truly successful in all areas. Many times, an artist will only focus on the music but they fail to realize that without a lawyer, marketing plan or having other essential relationships, the music will not get heard or you may not get paid no matter how great the music may be. It's 90% business, 10% talent," says June Archer.

The New England Music Seminar brought out a total of 300 enthusiastic and attentive attendees including singers, songwriters, rappers, managers, entertainment entrepreneurs, producers, and promoters who came prepared with questions and seeking answers on how to perfect their craft. In addition to the NEMS educational program, NEMS also provided a platform for a Producers Beat Battle. Mr. Archer adds, "The New England Music Seminar sets a standard of excellence by providing our audience with referenced knowledge on various subjects and we engage our audience by encouraging crowd participation, networking, and accepting suggestions on how and what we can do as industry professionals to continuously service our audience." NEMS Founder June Archer received an overwhelming response of gratitude from both the attendees and panelists, alike. See what NEMS Panelists had to say below:
