The Stars Come Out for ACT Today's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser this month
From film to television to Comedy Central - celebrities join Autism Care and Treatment for a day of golf benefiting children with autism.

    TARZANA, CA, May 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Autism Care and Treatment (ACT-Today!) will host its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on May 18th, 2009 at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, California. The tournament benefits children with autism.

Participants include corporate sponsors, community leaders, parents of children with autism, and supporters of autism awareness. Among the list of celebrities are Comedian John Mendoza, FOX's Reality Show - The Househusbands of Hollywood, Film & TV Actor Basil Wallace, Race car Champion Charles Downes, Film & TV Actor/Director Lou Diamond Phillips, LA's Radio Personality Charlie Tuna of 101FM and Gabriela Tessier of Univision, plus many, many more.

"We are delighted to have so many community members, celebrities and corporate sponsors participate in this year's golf tournament fundraiser," says Stefan de Nocker, Tournament Director and ACT- Today! Board member. "This will be the most successful ACT Today! golf tournament to date."

The 18-hole tournament begins at 9:30am with breakfast/registration, followed by a Putting Contest (10:15am) and Shotgun Start (11:00am). Sponsorships for teams of four ($800) are available for the May 18th tournament. Golfers are also welcome to register as individual participants ($250).

A wide range of both team and skill-related prizes will be awarded, along with and 50/50 raffle and other prizes and gifts during the evening's dinner gala. ACT Today! wishes to thank Tournament Dinner Hosts Actor/Director Lou Diamond Phillips and Los Angeles Newswoman Gabriela Tessier.
