FDS manages the whole research process from beginning to end. We have worked with environmental consultancy Bureau Veritas to design the questionnaires and have developed the algorithm that allows us to compare and contrast the green performance of companies from different sectors and environmental impacts.
FDS also provides the automated reporting solution for all the companies who take part. This allows organisations to see how their employees answer compared with other companies in their category.
Maven has scripted the questionnaires and hosts the on-line surveys. Last year we received over 17,000 employee responses across all of the entrants. Maven also script and host the employer questionnaire. The results from this are passed onto Bureau Veritas for independent auditing.
There are five competitions within the overall award, each determined by company size and the industry sector in which a company operates. Environmental impact divisions are based on sector and are referenced by the FTSE For Good definitions to segment entrants.
The deadline for entries is the 18th February 2009; winners to be announced in The Sunday Times in May. There will also be an award event to which all registered companies will be invited to attend.
