/24-7PressRelease/ -- Shoppers can start the new year with deep discounts 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 9 and 10 at the annual sidewalk sale at the Village at Arrowhead Shopping Center, 20050 N. 67th Ave. in Glendale.
Participating merchants will be reducing inventory and offering sales of up to 75% off regular retail prices.
"Every January the merchants at The Village at Arrowhead Shopping Center dedicate one special weekend to show our appreciation to our valued customers," said Mary Walker, marketing coordinator for the Glendale shopping center and president of Power Promotions. "Rather than holding a special event, we responded to our customers' requests for a spectacular sale with deep discounts."
The shopping center has been a hub of activity and the sponsor of numerous free community events that raise food and toy donations for local charities. Past events include: Carriage Rides with Santa, The All That Jazz Concert Series, the Chili Cookoff, the Family Fun Picnic and Food Drive, as well as the Art Walk and Children's Art Contest.
