Antstand is designed to prevent neck and shoulder pain caused by prolonged laptop use. The minimal design creates a sturdy support and when flat packed it's slim enough to fit inside the laptop sleeve making it extremely portable.

"My work takes me to many different places throughout the day, and most of that work involves the use of my laptop." explained Paul Ayling, creator of Antstand.

"About three years ago I started to notice stubborn pain in my neck and shoulders that would not go away. Avoiding the use of my laptop was not viable for me so I investigated how I could raise my laptop screen up. The laptop stands that were available were either too heavy or awkward to get into my bag. This was the catalyst for me to design a new type of laptop stand, which became the Antstand.

Antstand is the fruition of 3 year's research and prototyping to create the most minimal, portable and ultimately useful laptop-stand ever. Currently, there is nothing else like it."

The Antstand raises the screen 8 inches and when flat packed it's slim enough to fit inside the laptop sleeve. Antstand is made from sustainable bamboo, fits nearly all laptops from 11-15 inch and weighs just 209 grams.

Looking down on your laptop screen strains the neck and shoulders. The average head weighs about 10pounds (5kg), it is estimated that looking down onto your laptop screen multiplies the strain on the neck and shoulders by a factor of 6.
