DETROIT, MI, December 04, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Young Gma's Guide to Parenting Blog Debuts: A Blog on Everything Parenting
A new blog by parenting freelance writer Kimberly Blaker, The Young Gma's Guide to Parenting, has just debuted. Blaker explains, "it's a blog on everything parenting, from family fun and educational activities to health, safety, and the difficult issues parents contend with."
Blaker has been writing for the past 18 years. Her syndicated parenting articles have appeared in more than 200 print and digital parenting and lifestyle magazines.
What makes Blaker's blog unique from all the other mommy blogs, she says, is "it's written by a young gma (grandma). I bring to it my experience and insight from having already raised two kids."
But Blaker brings to it so much more. "I'm not like a lot of older parents (grandparents) who think everything of their generation was the best, right, or only way to do things when it comes to parenting," explains Blaker. "Yes, many things have remained the same. Plus we did a lot of things right. Still, times change. Information changes. And with those changes come changes the issues parents face in an advancing society not to mention parenting methods."
Because of this perspective, Blaker does not write solely from her experience. As an award winning research writer, she also researches every topic she writes about to ensure the advice she's offering is sound and relevant to today's parents.
Another unique aspect of The Young Gma's Guide to Parenting is that it will also appeal to the 2.7 million American grandparents who are currently raising their grandkids. Not to mention, it will be helpful to the countless other grandparents who provide care for their grandchildren while parents work.
Blaker will add three to five new blog posts each week to build a massive resource parents can easily turn to for answers. Whether it's best ways to handle discipline or fun ways for families to play together and bond, parents will be able to find the answers they seek as the blog grows.
