/24-7PressRelease/ -- Three J.P. Turner & Company advisors were named Five Star Wealth Managers by Atlanta Magazine. Clint Gharib, Anthony Mowrer and Jeffrey Schade were among those nominated by high-net worth Atlanta area residents and their fellow Atlanta-based wealth managers. Of the 15,000 wealth managers in Atlanta, only 579 of them made this year's list.

The Five Star Wealth Manager Award is a recognition program for wealth managers. Wealth managers are those individuals who help you manage your financial world/and or implement aspects of your financial strategies.
Crescendo Business Services, an independent research firm, surveyed, by mail and phone, 70,000 high-net worth residents in the Atlanta area and subscribers of Atlanta Magazine. They also sent 65,000 surveys to financial services industry professionals. With more than 15,000 wealth managers in the Atlanta area, the goal was to find wealth managers who successfully satisfied key client satisfaction criteria and overall scored the highest in client satisfaction.
Wealth managers were evaluated based on nine criteria: customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction. Each wealth manager was reviewed for regulatory actions, civil judicial actions and customer complaints as reported by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and other regulatory agencies.
Gharib, a 20 year veteran says, "I believe risk management is paramount to enhance overall returns. My job is to help my clients make money, but it is equally as important to try to keep them from losing it." He joined J.P. Turner in 1998. His specialties include asset modeling, retirement planning, insurance products, real estate investments, college savings plans and estate and tax planning.
"As financial advisors, Jeff and I work with individuals, families, and business owners to help them to grow, protect, and preserve wealth from one generation to the next in a tax-efficient manner while trying to increase returns and reduce risk," states Mowrer. Both Mowrer and Schade are highly skilled advisors -- Mowrer has 20 years of experience and has been with J.P. Turner for 12 years, and Schade has been with J.P.
