Kelly Olson, Early Childhood Educator and Birth and Family Educator, commented, "Preparing your preschool or elementary school age child to have a successful start this school year requires intentional efforts from parents. It's important to begin preparing your child for this transition early by integrating the subject in your conversations. Be sure to have a positive attitude and speak out loud to your child all the wonderful things you expect to happen at school this year such as: you're going to make a lot of good friends, you're going to get smarter and learn a lot of good things, you'll be creative and make fun art projects and beautiful music!
