    LAKE OSWEGO, OR, April 03, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company provides a vast array of fiber optic connectivity solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the broadcast industry. Capabilities include the ability to manufacture SMPTE 311M HDTV Hybrid cable assemblies, utilizing Canare or Lemo SMPTE 304M connectors on HDTV cables manufactured by Furukawa, Canare and others. Also available are ruggedized, harsh environment TAC-4, TAC-6 and TAC-12 hermaphroditic as well as expanded beam assemblies.

Solutions have been provided for King's Arena in California via the MIRA Mobile broadcast van, various major network affiliate stations, both the summer and winter Olympics, and many cable types used by The Freedom Forum / Newseum in Washington DC, which was broadcast central during the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2009.
