- Ortonville, MI, July 5, 2008, Tina M. Layman James, Author and Care Giver at Home Instead Senior Care, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of writing and geriatric care.
With more than three years of professional experience, Ms. James specializes in caring for seniors. She is responsible for assisting seniors with medication and interacting with their families. She previously worked for a state-funded children's program. She stays current with the trends in her profession by attending training programs and enrolling continuing education courses, and serves as a volunteer with the National Children's Cancer Society. Ms. James believes that a lack of good care for seniors in homes is the most important issue facing her profession today.
Also a published author, Ms. James considers the success of her first romance and murder mystery novel, "In Her Dream," to be the highlight of her career. She has also published two books for children, "The Secret Serpent" and "The Sphere of Light." Ms. James hopes to continue care giving, writing and publishing books in the future.
