LONDON, ENGLAND, August 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tom Ellis, the actor best known for playing Gary in BBC comedy Miranda, will take on the role of Curtis Lyons in 'The Lyons' when it comes to London's Menier Chocolate Factory from 19th September to 16th November 2013, helmed by the play's original New York director, Mark Brokaw. In this dark comedy written by Nicky Silver the drama centres on the Lyons family who have gathered around the hospital bed of their dying father, Ben Lyons. But soon sadness and compassion give way to familial bickering and the betrayal of secrets.

Tom Ellis plays Ben's son, Curtis Lyons, while Charlotte Randall plays his sister, Lisa Lyons. Katy Secombe, whose theatre credits include Darling of the Day (Union), Les Miserables (Queen's), Hay Fever (Rose, Kingston) and Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales) plays the Nurse.
