Mrs. Knapp is a 1955 graduate of Paterson Central High School in New Jersey. She later attended Trenton State College in New Jersey where she earned a Masters Degree in Piano Performance.
After teaching for 24 years, a diagnosis of incurable bone marrow cancer caused her to leave the teaching field. Mrs. Knapp had successful cancer surgery 12 years ago and continues treatment as a grateful cancer survivor.
"Black, White & Shades of Poetry" is a beautiful collection of poems that will absolutely touch the hearts of many readers. The author brilliantly expresses, through her writings, a great sense of humor and wit as she reflects on family, relationships and the miracle we call life.
