SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- http://www.trackercorp.com announced a new "POS User Role" feature in its Tracker I-9 software that enables retail store managers (and others with limited access to technology) to securely complete and process electronic I-9 Forms and E-Verify using common equipment no more sophisticated than a web-enabled register or point of sale (POS) terminal.

Tracker I-9's new, optional role configuration provides a simplified electronic Form I-9 interface that is viewable at a screen resolution as low as 800 x 600 pixels per square inch. This makes completing I-9s and E-Verifying new employees possible right at the cashier's checkout console, by authorized managers with minimal training.

The POS user role eliminates the delays and workload normally faced when funneling all I-9s through the HR department of corporate headquarters. Meanwhile, its simplified functionality blends within the workflows of on-site environments, streamlining the I-9 process without stress, while letting managers stay focused on their daily job. Tracker I-9 also completely integrates with the company's current applications and systems, easily automates best practices company-wide, and helps ensure compliance with Form I-9 and E-Verify laws.

"Our new POS role functionality is being leveraged by one of the nation's largest apparel manufacturers and retailers," says Brett Weiss, Chief Operating Officer of Tracker Corp. "Of course this unique feature will also benefit other industries, such as food service and transportation, who rely on managers at multiple worksites to process I-9s. But it will be especially valuable to organizations who process high numbers of temporary or seasonal employees. We're excited to mainstream it."

Tracker Corp provides software for immigration management, I-9 compliance and E-Verify. Used by approximately 75% of top-rated immigration law firms and many Fortune 1000 companies, hospitals and universities, Tracker Corp products include ImmigrationTracker immigration management software and Tracker I-9 compliance software. Founded in 1998, Tracker Corp is privately held and based in San Francisco, CA. For more information, visit http://www.trackercorp.com.
