About Members of Tribeca Pottery:
Tribeca Potters are group of 20 clay artists sharing a large studio at 313 W.37th St., 4th floor. Every Artist works in very individual style, using wide variety of materials. These include wheel thrown stoneware, slip cast earthenware, hand-painted majolica, handbuilt slab work and sculpture.
What They Do:
Some of the Studio's Artists sell their one-of-a-kind pieces from the studio on West 37th street, others participate in national wholesale shows and sell their work to a variety of gifts shops and galleries throughout the country. Their work may be seen in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. They also participate in shows and sales in NY and in New England.
