Tricia L. Hise, Esq., Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

Tricia L. Hise is a 2004 graduate of the Southwestern University School of Law. Upon her initial entry into the legal field, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Mountain Judicial Circuit and in 2006 joined the District Attorney's Office where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. In 2007 Ms. Hise entered private practice with her areas of focus being criminal defense, divorce, child custody, family law, civil litigation, and DUI defense. Ms. Hise established her firm in December 2009, located in Clarkesville, Georgia. Ms. Hise specializes in criminal defense and family law, and provides legal representation for a variety of cases including those pertaining to criminal defense, child custody, civil litigation, medical malpractice and divorce law.

In addition to her responsibilities in private practice, Ms. Hise offers her services as a guest speaker for college ethics classes. She also provides pro bono serves for local shelters for battered women. Ms. Hise attributes the professional success she has enjoyed thus far to her work ethic as well as the support of her family, friends and mentors.

Ms. Hise is licensed to practice in the Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court. In addition to her JD, she holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Georgia. She served as the chairwomen of Southwestern University's Trial Advocacy Honors Program for the 2003-2004 year and maintains affiliation with the Mountain Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association.
