Tropical Flurry franchisees provide frozen beverage machines to school and retail locations on a loan-basis, with the locations paying nothing for the machine loan or for on-going machine maintenance. According to a December 14, 2008, report in the Washington Post, the use of a domestic call center is preferred by those contacted in a telephone sales situation. According to a survey conducted by the research organization CFI Group, satisfaction scores for domestic call centers were 23% higher than those of foreign-based centers.
