There's a star-studded cast for the new historical drama The Pillars Of The Earth but for Sarah Parish the shoot proved particularly uncomfortable thanks to her pregnancy.

    LONDON, ENGLAND, October 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Set during a turbulent period of civil war, conspiracy and religious strife during Norman times, the series includes Rufus Sewell, Donald Sutherland, Matthew Macfadyen, and Hayley Atwell among the cast.

'The costumes changed quite dramatically in size over time,' recalls Sarah, who plays ambitious and scheming noblewoman Regan Hamleigh.

'Every few weeks they'd come to my dressing room with a slightly bigger dress so I could get my bump into it. I gave birth about 48 hours after we finished filming.'
