Two Delphi Academy of Boston Students Nominated for "A Class Act" on Channel 7 News

The two students raised funds for Haiti relief and were featured on the local news.

MILTON, MA, November 22, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Delphi Academy of Boston students Malik and Mehki visit Haiti every year. They have observed first-hand the conditions in which many Haitians, young and old, have to live. This year they decided to do something about it.

We are proud to announce that these brothers worked all year to save $1,000 to help the children of Haiti. They mowed lawns, sold lemonade, shoveled walks and held a huge yard sale to raise the money. With it, they were able to purchase clothing, toys, shoes and other resources for the Haitians they see every year.

Mehki summed up their kind-hearted efforts with this statement: "We just want to Haiti all the things we can, because Haiti needs things as much as we do."

The efforts of these two young students gave them a nomination as "A Class Act" on Channel 7 News. The staff and students at the local private school are proud of these compassionate and hard-working young men.
