/24-7PressRelease/ - NEW YORK, NY, September 24, 2007 -- Today TxtDrop.com, a provider of free SMS text messaging services, is proudly announcing it now offers two-way text messaging from its website, enabling it's users to send free text messages and receive replies to messages at a desired email address. TxtDrop's update today comes as a result of users requests and months of testing through the use of TxtDrop's free downloadable desktop widgets and gadgets. TxtDrop's popular iPhone application for free text messaging also supports two-way text messaging.

"Free two-way text messaging is a significant improvement for our users. Possibly one of the most significant improvements we've ever made to the service." said company officials. "Two-way text messaging enables our users and their message recipients to seamlessly carry on their conversations. We've gotten a lot of requests from users to add this feature so they can receive replies to their messages and we think they'll be pleased that we've added the feature."

TxtDrop's free two-way text messaging is supported by most large carriers in the United States and Canada with the exception of AT&T, formerly Cingular. AT&T's text messaging gateways currently overwrite the sending address field with their own 5 digit text messaging shortcode, leaving TxtDrop without a workaround.

For more information or to begin sending completely free two-way text messages visit http://www.txtdrop.com/.
