- Subperiosteal implants - Also known as mini implants, these implants are best for patients who lack width, depth, and height in their jawbone. Subperiosteal implants are placed above the jawbone, just below the gums, which makes them best for patients who are looking for a more secure hold for their dentures or a dental bridge
For years, root form implants were the only option. During this time, you may have been told dental implants were not ideal for your smile. With these new advancements, nearly everyone can have some form of dental implant, and enjoy the long-term, functionally superior benefits of this tooth replacement option.
