/24-7PressRelease/ -- Consumer website http://www.uk-energy-saving.com has added another string to its bow with the opportunity for site visitors to recycle their mobile phones for cash! In partnership with the Eazyfone Group, they are inviting website visitors to send in their old mobile phones and exchange them for cash.
According to some sources, there are approximately 90 million redundant mobile phones lying around the UK with many people keeping their phones for an average of only 18 months before upgrading. Whilst it is not directly harming the environment to keep these phones lying in a drawer, and it is certainly preferable to sending them with their toxic components to landfill sites, it is nevertheless preferable to allow the phones to be reused or recycled. Hayley Jones, Web Marketing Director for UK Energy Saving, talks more about the new feature on their site. "We get a significant number of enquiries regarding recycling, and mobile phones offer an opportunity for our visitors to recycle and make money at the same time! We are always trying to add new features to our site so are therefore pleased to be able to offer this service. We would encourage consumers to keep phones for as long as possible before upgrading, but when this is necessary, customers can make up to GBP180 by sending in their phones and rest safe in the knowledge that their phone will be reused or recycled."
In order to access the mobile phone recycling marketplace, simply visit UK Energy Saving at http://www.uk-energy-saving.com/mobile_phone_recycling.html or go direct to http://www.ukenergysaving.valuerecycling.com and provide the necessary details.
