They have been awarded the coveted 'Fudgemaking Team of the Year' award, beating nine other teams of expert fudge makers in the process.
Members of the teams gathered in Cambridge for the event, where each branch of Jim Garrahy's Fudge Kitchen put forward their strongest fudge makers for a true battle of the best.
Suzanne Mullins from Jim Garrahy's in Canterbury produced the winning batch of fudge, aided by the Canterbury shop Manager Mikey Sperring. Suzanne is renowned for her fudge making skills and is considered to be amongst the 'jedi' fudge makers of the company. She has been working with Jim Garrahy's for some eight years and showed early promise as an excellent confectioner from the very start. Also on the winning team was Beau James, another promising young fudge maker.
The winners receive the coveted 'Loafing Trophy' for a year as well as receiving a special cash bonus.
