The fighters are being coached by former UFC Lightweight Champion Jens Pulver, and former UFC Welterweight Champion and lightweight contender B.J. Penn. The host is UFC President Dana White.
The coaches will fight with each other in a lightweight bout in the main event of the season finale. The two coaches are also scheduled to fight along with the finalists at The Ultimate Fighter. The event will be aired live at the completion of the series.
The Ultimate Fighter series premiered on April 5, 2007 on Spike TV in the United States and Canada. The series is organized by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
UFC promotes various mixed martial arts (MMA) and is a major promotor of MMA in North America. The organization is owned by Zuffa LLC, which is an American sports promotion company.
