The company is delighted to announce the "Best of Show" and "Best of Category" winners for the 2007 UniKeep Design Contest. The contest, now in its fifth year, offered a $1,500 cash prize to the Best of Show winner and a $500 cash prize to each of the five Best of Category winners. Contest judges chose the talented winners from the monthly winners during 2007 and winning entries were announced in the January Issue of UniKeep eNews.
Sponsors for the 2007 contest were Scrapbooking & Beyond and Creative TECHniques magazines. Judges for the UniKeep Design Contest were Jane Guthrie, Editor of Scrapbooking & Beyond Magazine, Natalie Rhinesmith, Editor of Creative TECHniques Magazine and Judi Kauffman, nationally-known designer, writer, and teacher. They will again be judging the 2008 Design Contest. Scrapbooking & Beyond and Creative TECHniques magazines will continue as sponsors for 2008.

Janina Boesch, a web designer in New York specializing in interactive media, is the 2007 Best of Show winner for her "Freestyle Swimming" entry which also won Best of Category in Sports. According to the judges, this entry portrays more than just an image - it tells a complete compelling story. It is too good not to get the Big Prize!
"In this design I tried to capture the speed and power that dictate a swimming contest. Especially in freestyle, swimmers look very dynamic and energetic," said Janina about her winning design. "I very much enjoy working on fun projects like the UniKeep design contest. Winning the annual contest in two categories and the Best of Show is certainly the nicest reward for doing what I love to do most."

The Best of Category winners for 2007 are:
Arts & Entertainment - Shanterra Lane for "The Power of Art". This entry is, by its very definition, art and has a peaceful and calming quality to it.
Business - Alex Choo Chin Fung for "Business World". This entry offers imagery appropriate for today's business climate.
Education - Janina Boesch for "Once Upon A Time...." This entry is a very versatile piece, letting you bring the story.
Hobbies & Recreation - Sandra Hiraoka for "Live, Love, Life". This entry shows the designer's imagination appears to know no bounds.
Sports - Janina Boesch for "Freestyle Swimming". The design shows good balance, attention to detail; every element is relevant.
The "Fifth Annual UniKeep Design Contest" for 2008 is underway and again offers cash prizes as well as monthly product prizes, an annual Best of Show winner and annual Best of Category winners. Monthly winning contestants will receive a check for $100 along with a print of the winning design in a UniKeep binder. Plus, the first 50 entries each month receive a FREE UniKeep binder.
