Unplugged and Uncorked Heads to California

Wine, food, music company expands geographic reach.



    SLOWER, LOWER, DE, September 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A little wine and music can go a long way. In the case of Paul Cullen's Unplugged and Uncorked, we're talking 3,000 miles!

On October 5th, Cullen will pack up two-thirds of his Unplugged and Uncorked brand - his guitar and his new private wine label, Sonata - and take the journey from his base in Lower Delaware all the way to the West Coast. There, he'll hit the Apres Wine Company in Lake Tahoe (October 5th), the Los Gatos Brewing Company in Los Gatos (October 7th), The Wine Room in Palo Alto (October 8th), and other fine food/wine establishments throughout the region to share his white and red wines and his jazzy cool acoustic sounds with patrons.

For the past five years, Unplugged and Uncorked has been expanding throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, landing in multiple retail establishments and restaurants in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. His wine label, Sonata is currently available for purchase at retailers in Delaware, with plans to expand distribution to additional outlets outside of the state. Cullen also recently joined the editorial staff of Coastal Style magazine as food editor, providing him an opportunity to showcase the third prong of his company: Italian-inspired food, which he has been sharing through recipes and cooking videos via the online version of the publication.

"Since we've now made Sonata available online to people all around the country, it makes sense that we're beginning to expand our tastings and shows, as well," says Cullen. "Our upcoming trip to California is going to give us a wonderful opportunity to reach a whole new audience and population of wine lovers, and we couldn't be more excited about that."
