Upcoming Lectures Provide Dentists With Improved Knowledge and Care For Patients

    ATLANTA, GA, May 07, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With continuing education courses in dental sleep medicine, Dr. Mayoor Patel hopes to help other dentists rejuvenate their passion for their dental practice by learning new skills, techniques, and services to offer patients. As a leader in dental sleep medicine, Dr. Patel is pleased to offer upcoming lectures for the month of May.

The next lecture series offered by Dr. Mayoor Patel will take place on May 9th and 10th. This is the Nierman Seminar, which helps dentists learn about the Successful Implementation of Dental Sleep Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Patel utilizes this continuing education course to help dentists gain the tools necessary to successfully implement dental sleep medicine (DSM) in his or her area.

To date, the Nierman Seminar has helped over 2,000 dentists and their team members to grow their practice while saving their patients' lives. While there might be other courses available for dentists to complete, Dr. Patel ensures dentists that this series is better than the rest. Dr. Mayoor Patel takes charge of this series and provides other dentists with improved results through practical implementation focus, the opportunity to learn from clinical and administrative industry leaders, the ability to become a successful CrossCode office, a hands-on approach to teaching and learning, and an ongoing support network.

Additionally, Dr. Mayoor Patel will be a lecturer at Session 2 of the Sleep Medicine and Dentistry Mini-Residency on May 16th and 17th. This session is only open to those who attended Session 1 of the 3-part series. Dr. Patel looks forward to seeing the same dentists move on to Session 2 this month for further insight on sleep medicine and dentistry. This mini-residency provides doctors with lectures, hands-on workshops and case reviews. Dentists who complete all 3 sessions will receive approximately 48 CE Credits so that they can take the next step toward a well-rounded dental practice.

Dr. Patel will also be lecturing at the end of May at the AADSM Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN. The topic for this lecture on May 29, 2014 will be on the Application and Clinical Indications for the Narval CC oral appliance. Dr. Patel hopes that each dentist who attends this lecture will leave with an improved understanding of this innovative oral appliance in the treatment of sleep apnea.

About Mayoor Patel, DDS, MS: Dr. Mayoor Patel received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee in 1994 and completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). He also earned his Masters in Science from Tufts University in 2011 and accepted a position as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts Dental School. Dr. Patel also serves as Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences at the Georgia Regents University, College of Dental Medicine in Augusta Georgia. He is the only Dental Practitioner in Georgia to be triple-boarded in Craniofacial Pain, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Mayoor Patel has taken well over 1500 hours of postgraduate education courses in the area of Sleep Medicine, Craniofacial Pain, Sleep Disorders and Orthodontics.
