US Firm City Business Solutions Investigate What Can Be Done to Encourage More Young People into Business Ownership

Research has found that the number of millennials starting their own companies has significantly dropped over the last quarter. City Business Solutions investigates how America can inspire millennials to become business owners.

CHICAGO, IL, June 06, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Despite an overall rise in the number of new businesses being established in the US, research from the Kauffman Foundation published by CNCB on 28th May 2015 has revealed that the majority of these businesses are being started by older entrepreneurs, with the number of millennials starting their own businesses currently on a fast decline. America's most in depth research into start up creators by the Kauffman Foundation did outline many positives however. The report revealed that the US is currently experiencing the largest year on year increase in start-up creation for two decades, and that the downward trend felt in 2010 has now officially been reversed. However, despite these positive factors, City Business Solutions, a Chicago based sales and event marketing firm were concerned to learn that the number of female and millennial business owners has dropped significantly in 2015. Despite their concern, the firm have admitted that they weren't overly surprised and have shared what they believe to be putting young people off entrepreneurship.

About City Business Solutions: http://citybusinesssolutionsusa.com

Whilst many older entrepreneurs have the saving and capital to start again and start a new business, millennials up and down the country are struggling financially due to low paying jobs, student debt and are not prepared to put everything on the line in order to start a business. Another major factor effecting millennial business start-up rates is that many feel they lack the business acumen and skills to succeed as a business owner. Whilst the older generation may decide to branch out on their own and enter into entrepreneurship in a new industry, the majority still have the necessary discipline and life experience to learn the ropes quickly and succeed. Millennials, especially those who lack higher education often find it difficult to gain the experience needed to start a business, and for many, jobs that offer real progression and advancement opportunities are often few and far between.

City Business Solutions are keen to see the US do more to raise the number of millennial entrepreneurs as they believe them to be key to building a stronger economy. The firm believe that millennials have the passion and drive for the new, and can provide greater innovation to the often outdated business environment. The firm also believe that young people have a unique talent for understanding current market trends and needs which can help to keep businesses relevant and fresh.

City Business Solutions believe that in order to reintroduce millennials to the business world and encourage them to start new businesses, the US needs to focus on better entrepreneurial education and training. Mentoring, networking and real work experience are key factors in developing a passion for business among young people, whilst the firm also believe that easier access to and education on funding could help launch far more millennial owned businesses.

To encourage more young business owners within the event marketing industry City Business Solutions have devised a business development program designed to teach participants the foundations of successful business management. Due to the growth of the industry and the success of face to face marketing City Business Solutions believe it's important for them to share their knowledge and experiences with the next generation of entrepreneurs, so that the industry can secure a bright and successful future.

City Business Solutions specialize in a personalized form of marketing because they believe this offers a greater ROI for their clients.
