- New Braunfels, TX, May 31, 2008, Valerie Cleckler, Teacher at the Comal Elementary School, has been recognized by

With 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Cleckler excels in teaching, painting, sculpting and exhibiting arts. Her responsibilities include teaching art for kindergarten through fifth-grade students, painting art history and conferring with parents and students. She attributes her success to her passion for teaching and the support she received from her family and colleagues. In the future, she intends to exhibit and sell her artwork and continue teaching.
Ms. Cleckler earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 1981. She is also affiliated with the Associations of Texas Professionals Educators and volunteers with the American Cancer Society.
