This is the first major conference of its kind in the Delaware Valley geared specifically toward land owners, mineral owners and royalty owners. It will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center on November 10.
In blatant disregard for the property rights of landowners, numerous municipalities across the Pennsylvania Marcellus have enacted or are considering zoning ordinances that clearly overstep their authority under state law. Together, these ordinances create a patchwork of unreasonable requirements that threaten development of natural gas from the Marcellus Shale formation and deprive royalty owners of the right to develop natural gas on their property. This town hall meeting will be addressing questions and concerns of property owners in PA who own gas or oil rights that may be affected.
