/24-7PressRelease/ -- Las Vegas, Nevada based NOS Communications, Inc. announces the Grand Opening of their "Operational Support Center." NOS previously executed an initial two-year contract for outsourced business support, or "shelter" services, with Tucson, Arizona based Vangtel Nearshoring Solutions, on September 23, 2008. Under the terms of the contract, NOS will provide Software Development, Collections, Customer Care, Provisioning and Network Monitoring activities to its global customers within the context of Vangtel's Shelter Program at its Vangtel's facility in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. For the last two months NOS has been undergoing extensive tenant improvements to the Vangtel space, including custom manufactured furniture and state-of-the-art technical infrastruture.
Under the Shelter Program, clients concentrate on their core activities, while Vangtel's professionals are responsible for the tasks that are non-core, but critical, for the success of any business operation in Mexico. These include: Human Resources management and administration, payroll management, accounting/tax services, licensing, government relations, logistics and customs issues, as well as facilities management and procurement services.
According to George Cisler, the Vice-President of Network Services for NOS Communications, Inc., "While there were many potential places in which we could have sited our facility, we chose Hermosillo, Mexico due to an abundance of bilingual talent, multiple educational facilities, as well as its physical location for ease of access and the neutral time zone to support US client and co-worker interaction. Vangtel's 'shelter services' will enable us to focus fully on the core competencies that keep us competitive in our markets."
