/24-7PressRelease/ -- Clearance to market has been granted by the FDA to the developers of Veinwave , the revolutionary treatment for the removal of spider vein and telangiectasia. Having devised the treatment some 10 years ago in conjunction with a group of esteemed European medics, Veinwave was first launched in London's Harley Street in 2001. Endorsed by Dr Brian Newman MD FRCS, Veinwave soon became the gold standard for treating fine spider veins with over 350 practitioners in the UK alone offering the treatment. Whilst lasers and Intense Light systems were used with some degree of success previously, no treatment has proven to be as safe nor as effective as Veinwave.
Utilising the process of UTC (Unipolar Thermo-Coagulation), Veinwave applies a unique localised heat energy, via an ultra fine insulated needle, causing the vein walls to collapse and the vein to disappear instantly. It has a 'wow' factor like no other treatment yet it minimalises the risks associated with alternative treatments such as burning, scaring and pigmentation. Now, having been preparing the paperwork for submission to the FDA over the past 2 years, Medical Innovations, in conjunction with Sovereign Medical Health, have received clearance from the FDA to market Veinwave in the US.
Already met with tremendous applause by a select few Doctors here, given a sneak preview, Veinwave is due to be rolled out across the US within the next few months.
