Video Production Training Event in Newark, NJ! October 10-12th!
The 2008 Videomaker Summit East is a 3-day event, where videographers and video enthusiasts can choose to attend over 30 seminars. There will also be a 3-day intensive training workshop on Basic Video Production, and 1-day Focused Lessons on Advanced Editing, Vidcast Production and Audio Mixing!

    /24-7PressRelease/ - Chico, CA, September 13, 2008 - Video enthusiasts will refine their video production skills with more than 30 in-depth seminars at the 2008 Videomaker Summit East, to be held at the Washington Square Conference Center in Newark, New Jersey, October 10 - 12, 2008.

The 2008 Videomaker Summit East is a 3-day event, where videographers and video enthusiasts can choose to attend seminars on a variety of topics including Camcorder Techniques, Vidcasting, Special Effects, Lighting Techniques, Legal Issues for Video, Wedding Videography, and Video Editing just to name a few! There will also be a 3-day intensive training workshop on Basic Video Production, and 1-day Focused Lessons on Advanced Editing, Vidcast Production and Audio Mixing!

Seminars are designed for video enthusiasts on all levels of expertise, from beginner to professional. All seminars are taught by experts, including Videomaker Magazine's own editors and contributing editors. "These seminars provide a foundation for participants to learn how to make better video," says York. "Videographers have a chance to learn directly from the experts and realize the endless potential of video. With such a variety of seminars, participants will have an opportunity to increase their knowledge, skills and creativity in a variety of video specialties.

The 3-day Basic Production Workshop is sure to fill up fast. Workshops start each day with a one-hour seminar on the tasks of the day, then the class breaks into groups to make their video projects. Day one is Production Planning then attendees learn to shoot in a studio setup and on location on day 2, and edit it all together on day 3. The weekend culminates with a completed video for each group which will then be uploaded to YouTube.

All video, audio, lighting and editing equipment used in each workshop is provided by Videomaker, however you are invited to bring your own camera to shoot BTS (Behind the Scenes) of you're group's production. Attendees will be shooting with Sony FX 7 HDV camcorders and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 video editing software. Sign up today!
