/24-7PressRelease/ -- Highlights of this event include recognizing the VAA State Champion Auctioneer from our summer competition and the winter contest to crown Virginia's top rookie auctioneer. Awards will also be given to the Virginia Auctioneer of the Year and an induction into the VAA Hall of Fame. Auction companies excelling in marketing and advertising will also be recognized and awarded.
The weekend will feature a speech at Saturday's luncheon from newly elected Virginia State Senator Bryce Reeves from the 17th District. The media is welcome to attend these events.
The VAA and its members will be celebrating over five decades of service at this year's conference. With auctioneers and auctions becoming extremely popular on television and other media, this is an excellent opportunity for journalists to speak with real Virginia auctioneers about the current state of the auction industry.
