/24-7PressRelease/ -- Continuing coverage of the Michael Jackson story, Vocalo.org will be broadcasting live from the memorial service to be held for Michael Jackson on Friday, July 10, 2009, at the Gary SouthShore Rail Cats ballpark, U.S. Steel Yard, 1 Stadium Plaza, Gary, Indiana. Vocalo will be conducting pre-memorial interviews with Gary natives and Jackson extended family members who still reside in Gary. The focus will be on telling what the Jackson family means to the area.
"Michael Jackson grew to become one of the world's biggest icons, but his beginnings were humble, right here in Gary. Vocalo.org is going to celebrate the life, legacy and tribulations of one of Gary's own," says Wendy Turner, general manager of Vocalo.org.
Broadcast will begin at 3 p.m. CST; memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. CST, carried in the Lake Michigan region on 89.5FM and worldwide at Vocalo.org/stream.
